Am not sure of staying with Chelsea next season- Courtois
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has fuelled speculation regarding his future by admitting he "does not know" whether he will remain at Stamford Bridge next season.
A miserable season start under Jose Mourinho saw the Blues boss sacked in December, yet interim coach Guus Hiddink has since steered his recovering side into 10th in the Premier League.
Hiddink has been unable to keep Chelsea in the race for honours, however, following exits in the FA Cup and Champions League in March, while European qualification also looks slim.
Speaking on international duty with Belgium, Courtois - who has been linked with a move to Liga giants Real Madrid this week - admitted his discontent at the season and refused to rule out a transfer away from the London club this summer.
"I do not say yes, I do not say no. I do not know," he told Belgian broadcaster RTBF when asked if he will stay at Chelsea beyond this season.
"I still have three years on my contract. We must see what Chelsea want.
"It is true that it [this season] has changed me. Until now I had always won a trophy every season. We hope that next season will be better."
Courtois, who prepares to face Portugal on Tuesday, added he enjoys training with the Red Devils' "world-class players" as opposed to Chelsea's "little less rated" stars.
"The level of training is higher among Devils," he said.

Sydney schoolgirl 'wired cash to IS'
A Sydney girl, 16, has appeared in court on terror financing charges which carry a maximum term of 25 years' jail.
She
is accused of sending thousands of dollars to the so-called Islamic
State group in Syria through a Western Union money transfer, reports
say.The girl and a male accomplice, 20, who allegedly gave her the money were arrested in raids on Tuesday.
The pair allegedly met in a park on Tuesday to discuss a plan to send money to Syria that day, reports said.
They had reportedly developed a "sophisticated facilitation path" of wiring funds and had completed successful transfers before.
The man, named by media as Milad Atai, was also arrested during Australia's biggest counter-terror raids in September 2014.
Transfers
The girl is accused of admitting to a police informant that she had wired A$10,000 ($7,600, £5,400) to Syria at the behest of an Islamic State fighter. She was also allegedly planning to conduct another transfer of A$5,000 when she was caught on Tuesday morning in a park along with Mr Atai, who had handed her the money.
But her lawyer argued that the prosecution's case was based on inferences in her conversations with the police informant and said it may have amounted to entrapment.
Mr Atai faces charges similar to the girl's.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation said Mr Atai was still under investigation over the death of police accountant Curtis Cheng, who was gunned down by 15-year-old Farhad Jabar.
Police have reiterated concerns over extremists targeting young Australians.
"[It is] disturbing that we continue to deal with teenage children in this environment," NSW Police Deputy Commissioner Catherine Burn told reporters on Tuesday.

Nigeria Senate house passes 2016 budget
The Nigerian Senate has passed the 2016 Appropriation Bill, though it slashed the budget proposal submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari by about N17 billion.
President Buhari presented a total of N6.08trn budget, out of which N351bn was for statutory transfers, N2.8trn for recurrent expenditure and N1.8trn for capital expenditure.
However, a sum N1.587 trillion was approved by the Senate as the capital expenditure while N2.646.3 trillion. was earmarked for recurrent expenditure of
The senators also approved N351.37 billion as statutory transfers, N1.475.3 trillion for debt service, and N2.2 trillion for fiscal deficit.
The budget was approved based on an oil benchmark of $38, crude production of 2.2000m barrel per day and the exchange rate of N197 to $1.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Danjuma Goje, admitted that the initial budget had a lot or errors of omissions, especially in the area of personnel cost and that is how the difference in N17 billion came about.
He said his committee, therefore filled some of the gaps could still raise serious concerns in the course of the year because there were many outstanding cases.
Bukola Saraki, the President of the Senate said that after the formal passage of the appropriation bill that his colleagues had done his part and requested the president do the needful by signing it to law for immediate implementation.
Donald Trump makes wild threat to 'spill the beans' on Ted Cruz's wife
Washington (CNN)Donald Trump escalated his feud with Ted Cruz on Twitter Tuesday — but this time he also involved the Texas senator's wife.
The real estate mogul tweeted that the Texas senator should "be careful" or he would "spill the beans on your wife" Heidi Cruz.
"Lyin'
Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be
careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!," he
tweeted Tuesday evening, just minutes before polls closed in Arizona.
Trump tweeted and deleted a similar version of the Tweet about 10
minutes earlier.
Trump appears to be
referring to a Facebook advertisement targeted to Mormons that shows
Trump's wife, Melania, posing nude. That ad was produced by an
anti-Trump super PAC, Make America Awesome, which has no known
connection to the Cruz campaign.
Cruz responded on Twitter by saying that the ad was not from him and if he went after his wife, then Trump is a "coward."
"Pic of your wife not from us. Donald, if you try to attack Heidi, you're more of a coward than I thought. #classless," Cruz tweeted.
Heidi
Cruz is a senior executive for Goldman Sachs, and took a leave from in
order to help her husband's campaign. She has become one of the
campaign's most accomplished fundraisers.
CNN has reached out to the Trump and Cruz campaigns for comment.
Trump previously has used Twitter to threaten the Ricketts family, which has financed a negative ad campaign against him.
Cab driver and Surveillance footage, offer clues in investigation in Brussels attack
(Police say they are looking for the man on the right in connection with the Brussels attack).
Brussels, Belgium (CNN)In
grainy images from surveillance footage, a man wearing light-colored
clothes and a hat pushes a baggage cart through the airport.
It's
one key piece of evidence authorities are looking at as they search for
suspects after two explosions at the Brussels airport and another at a
busy metro station in the Belgian capital Tuesday killed at least 30
people and wounded 230 others.
ISIS
claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks, but authorities said
it's too soon to say for sure whether the terror group was behind the
blasts.
So far, police have released photos of three men they say are suspects tied to the airport attack, standing side-by-side.
Two
of the men, wearing black in surveillance images, are believed to be
suicide bombers who died in the explosions in the airport's departure
lounge.
But
investigators believe the one in light-colored clothing planted a bomb
at the airport, then left. Authorities called him a wanted man and asked
for the public's help tracking him down.
"The
third man left a bomb in the airport, but it didn't explode. ... And we
are now looking for this guy," Belgium's Interior Minister Jan Jambon
said.
A photograph released by investigators shows the three suspects side-by-side.
Federal Prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw said the two men wearing black in the photograph were likely the suicide attackers.
Video
shows the men exiting a taxi and moving through the airport, according
to two U.S. officials. The man dressed in white left the airport after
accompanying the other two, they said -- a move the officials said
appeared to be planned.
Taxi driver tip sparks raid
A break in the investigation may have come from a taxi driver who took the suspects to the airport.
The
driver contacted authorities after seeing surveillance footage and gave
them the address where he picked the men up, according to two U.S.
officials briefed on the investigation.
That information prompted authorities to raid a residence after the attacks, the officials said.
Investigators
found a nail bomb, chemical products and an ISIS flag during a house
search in the northeast Brussels neighborhood of Schaerbeek, Belgium's
federal prosecutor said in a statement.
Hours later, they were still combing through the building for evidence.
Security was high. At one point, a helicopter hovered overhead, carrying a sniper with a weapon trained on the building.
As
masked, armed officers stood guard outside the building, the burst of
camera flashes inside could be seen from the street below. Officers left
the building carrying bags of evidence they loaded onto vehicles.

Deactivation of redundant social media pages - Presidency
Geoff Iyatse
The Presidency has signed up on
Facebook page, bringing the number of social media pages President
Muhammadu Buhari is associated with to six.
This comes at a time the media team is
auditing the digital media presence of the President with a view to
deactivating those that are no longer active.
Buhari has two accounts on Twitter, one
on Facebook and another on Instagram. The Presidency, as an institution,
owns an account on Twitter in addition to the newly-created Facebook
page.
Some of the pages were signed up during
the 2015 general elections. They were created as part of campaign tools
of the President. After the elections, some of the accounts went
dormant, but they have not been taken down.
On what the media team intends to do
with the inactive accounts, Special Assistant to the President on
Digital/New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, said an audit had commenced on
Buhari’s social media platforms with a view to deactivating the
redundant ones.
“We are currently doing an audit on all
the Presidency’s social media platforms so that we can streamline the
messaging. Redundant platforms will be deactivated,” Ogunlesi, who also
revealed a plan to create a YouTube channel, said via an SMS.
@AsoRock, the Presidency’s
Tweeter handle, has stopped publishing since May 31, 2015. It was used
to announce the appointment of Buhari’s media aides – Femi Adesina and
Garba Shehu – after which it was abandoned.
The page, which invites Nigerians to
follow it for “latest information from the administration of Buhari”,
started tweeting on May 28, 2015, a day before the administration was
inaugurated.
Buhari’s personal Twitter page – @MBuhari –
played a key role in the social media profiling of the President during
the 2015 presidential election. The President, even after an official
Twitter handle (@NGRPresident) was created, continued to use @MBuhari after he was sworn-in.
But like @AsoRock, @MBuhari was
abandoned on September 6, 2015. Its last tweets included what the
administration considered as its achievements in its first 100 days in
office. Notwithstanding its status, @MBuhari remained the highest-followed digital page of the President. It is followed by 525,000.
On June 18, 2015, the President took to
his verified Facebook page to mourn Nigerians who lost their lives to
terrorism, after which he urged for cooperation to end insurgency.
“I mourn every single death of a
Nigerian as a result of terrorism. That is why security is my number one
priority. Our efforts to strengthen security cooperation with our
neighbours and adjust our own response to Boko Haram will yield results
very soon. Our resolve and capacity to end terrorism is much greater
than the threat we face. Nigeria will prevail,” he posted.
The message made headlines on blogs and other social media. But the post seemed to serve as the sign-off message on the page.
Over nine months after it hit the
cyberspace, the page has not been updated. Yet, hundreds of people go on
the platform daily to express their views on policies and
pronouncements by the President.
Instagram also welcomed @ThisIsBuhari
sometime during the presidential campaign with excitement. In the early
days of the administration, the page was ‘kept going’. It was, however,
suspended before Buhari marked 100 days in office.
For now, only the newly-created Facebook page and @NGRPresident
are functional. The two accounts, which are linked together, publish
activities of the President and his vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Except the unused platforms are
deactivated, Buhari is currently ahead of his peers, at least, in Africa
in terms of number of digital media pages.
Nigerian doctors abroad give FG conditions to return home for Practice
ABUJA – PHYSICIANS of Nigerian
origin practicing abroad have given the Federal Government some conditions
under which they can transfer their services home, among which include granting
them low interest loans and high reduction in tariff of transportation of
medical equipment into the country. But the Senate swiftly advised them to seek
request for the former from the governments of America and the United Kingdom
as according to it, Nigeria lacks such financial strength. Speaking yesterday,
during a courtesy call on the Senate Committee on Health, the medical
practitioners under the aegis of Association of Nigerian Physicians in the
Americas, ANPA, said they had intention of moving their trade back home given
what they called “ineffective medical health care” in Nigeria but but being
prevented by the issues listed. The physicians, who spoke through their
National President, Nkem Chukwumerije, said they had passion to return and work
for their fatherland but lamented that government was not doing enough to encourage
their relocation. Chukwumerije listed poor remuneration, inadequate modern
equipment to work with, and lack of low interest loans for those who want to
set up medical facilities in Nigeria, among others, problems hindering their
return. “The major barrier preventing the relocation of medical doctors back to
Nigeria is incentive. Every human character and behaviour are linked to
incentives. Some of the incentives to get back the medical doctors abroad to
Nigeria, are not in place. “Most of us here love our country and our hearts are
in Nigeria but we just have to be physically at another country but we are very
passionate about improving healthcare system here but the incentives especially
finance, remuneration sends people out and force them to remain abroad.
“Another thing is lack of proper equipment to work with. Most people abroad
honestly wants to come back but to physically relocate, we will need the right
financial incentives. “The Federal Government should provide low interest loans
for healthcare, so that medical practitioners abroad could bring their money
and have access to low interest loans. “Majority of our people wanted to come
back home but they cannot finance the relocation process and the cost of
setting up modern medical facilities in Nigeria. To bring in medical equipment
is expensive because of the customs tarriff and other fees. “Government need to
reduce the tarriff so that our people can bring in the equipment. The
government should also give us the opportunity to work in a structured
arrangements with the federal, states and local governments, and also with
private sector without barriers”, he said. Speaking at the occasion the
committee’s chairman, Senator Lanre Tejuosho, expressed the commitment of the
federal government to address the issue of Nigerian doctors who are relocating
abroad in droves for greener pastures as according to him, the country loses
over a billion dollar annually to medical tourism. He said the government wa
also determined to reverse the trend starting with the ANPA members who he
urged to take advantage of the technology they are using in America to consult
for doctors in Nigeria. He, however, urged the medical practitioners to take
the advantage of the low interest loans available in their country of residence
to access finance because the country currently lacked the financial capability
to grant such request. “For instance we have a lot of MRS scan machines all
over Nigeria but unfortunately, most of our doctors in Nigeria cannot
interprete the images. We still need you in this regard especially since you
are very experienced in the use of this equipment, to tell us what the images
are saying. “We can do the investigation in Nigeria, do the process and through
technology send it to you in the United States and within 30 minutes, you will
send the result back to us. “This is one of the reasons why we want to come to
you for a sacrificial service because we cannot afford to pay you. We want to
build a new system to make good quality healthcare services available to
Nigerians. “Our commiittee is planning a road show in the United States and
wherever we have Nigerian doctors all over the World, there is no way we can
have a perfect healthcare system in Nigeria if we don’t have enough doctors
considering the population being 170m people. “The World Health Organisations
ratio of doctors to patients, shows that we are lagging behind in Nigeria. We
want to take advantage of technology and the advantage of having our brothers
and sisters all over the world. “I am sure if we withdraw the number of
Nigerian medical doctors in the United Kingdom today, the health system in the
United Kingdom will break down and Nigeria is suffering for that because our
people went for greener pasture, “he said.
