PSG to secure the crown with Amazing 9-0 victory.

The Parc des Princes side have secured the French crown at an unprecedented early stage

Paris Saint-Germain’s record 9-0 victory over Troyes at Stade de l’Aube means that Laurent Blanc’s men have won the Ligue 1 title for a fourth successive season.

The capital side eclipsed their previous biggest league victory, which was a 6-0 success against Guingamp, in scoring eight times at Stade de l'Aube. Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbed a four, Edinson Cavani scored twice while Javier Pastore and Adrien Rabiot were all on target in the biggest Ligue 1 victory of the season, while a Matthieu Saunier own goal did not help the hosts' cause any.
It was a thoroughly emphatic way for PSG to secure the crown.

The Parc des Princes club have held the leadership of the league since the second week of the season and have enjoyed a memorable campaign that has seen them utterly dominate Le Championnat.
They have accrued an unassailable lead of 25 points over second-placed Monaco with just eight matches remaining to claim the title at an unprecedentedly early stage.
While PSG achieved a run of 36 matches undefeated, stretching from March 2015 until February 2016, when Lyon finally defeated them, their title push has been aided by the inability of their closest rivals to put together a strong run of form, with Monaco languishing on 52 points. Last season, Lyon, Marseille and Monaco all surpassed that tally at this juncture.

With the league title in the bag, Blanc’s men will now focus on reclaiming the domestic treble they won last season and will also seek to progress past the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time after three unsuccessful attempts in as many years.
